The Happy Dave Archive

Hey there!

Thanks for dropping by. This is the now-mothballed ‘Happy Dave’ blog of me, Dave Goodman, which ran continuously in a number of forms from late 2003 to 2007. You can read about why I decided to mothball the blog here.

There’s a heap of interesting content here, which you can read by searching the archives. I humbly proffer my Newbie to Ninja series if you’re new to the Web 2.0 (although that term might be obsolete by the time you read this) or the Civil Liberties category if you fancy getting your blood riled up.

If you’ve had a look around and would like to see the bits of the site that are a bit more active, I’d suggest you head back to the homepage.

Note - as of August 2008, this is a pretty shaky reconstruction of the original Happy Dave. The first one was hacked by spammers, so this one is a rebuild from the database. All the comments were wiped along with some other bits of metadata, but the original posts are all still here. Always keep your Wordpress installs up to date kids!
