I'm very pleased indeed to reveal the cover for my next book with Headline, SOLITARY AGENTS, which comes out on June 4th 2026!
Huge thanks to Phil Beresford and Headline for the stunning cover.
The book is available now to pre-order from all major retailers and independent bookshops, in hardback, eBook and audio. Check my links page to get your pre-order sorted.
Here's the pitch for SOLITARY AGENTS, which takes us back into the world of the Legends Programme, with a few new twists along the way:
Jamie Tulloch and Sam Li never intended to be spies. Jamie, a former exec at a tech company, found himself caught up in a mission and discovered a taste for the secret world while Sam, a burnt-out corporate lawyer, was unexpectedly talent spotted by MI5. When both are plunged into covert training, they find themselves pitted against each other for their final evaluation - Exercise Red Poacher.
Every year, MI6 trainees must evade capture, infiltrate sensitive sites and report back with the right intel, while their peers at MI5 try to stop them. But things take a sinister turn when they witness the apparent murder of one of their fellow recruits. Is it all part of the exercise? Or is someone trying to weaponise this game of spies into something far more deadly?
And if you prefer that pitch in the form of a terribly exciting book trailer, you can see the trailer on Instagram and Bluesky, or embedded below if you're viewing this on my website.
I hope you're as excited as I am to return to Jamie Tulloch's misadventures and please do consider a pre-order - they help more than nearly anything else in the book trade. Look out for me appearing to talk about this book soon on a podcast, festival panel or Youtube channel near you!
