One month to the Reluctant Spy paperback!
Only 31 days to go!
It's the 5th of May, which means there is exactly one calendar month to go (31 days, to be exact) until A RELUCTANT SPY comes out in paperback in the UK.
I'm so excited for the paperback, because I've always been primarily a paperback reader. I've nearly always got one close to hand, whether in my bedside TBR stack, tucked into a jacket pocket or nestling next to the laptop in my bag. I try not to leave the house without a paperback, if I'm honest. Jumping into a couple of pages of whatever I'm reading is infinitely preferable to doomscrolling on my phone at the dentist or while I wait for the train.
At some point in the next two or three weeks, I should get my paperback author copies. I'm really intrigued to see how it looks in this new format, especially with the fantastic new cover.
If you've been waiting for the paperback, now is a perfect time to pre-order your copy. It's available for pre-order at most UK retailers. I get asked a lot where the best place to order from is, and I'd always encourage you to order from a local independent bookshop if you can. Local bookshops are the lifeblood of reading and writing in their communities and every pound spent with them has a huge impact. You can also order through aggregators like Bookshop.org and Hive, who will order the book for you from a local independent.
