The Sitrep - Fri 16 Oct

An Italian sojourn and a Netgalley surprise.

Published by David Goodman in The Sitrep Share

Crikey, it's been a busy week, but entirely on the personal side. I wasn't sure whether I'd have motive, means or opportunity to get this issue out, but we're now settled in an apartment in Travestere in Rome with nice fast wifi, so here I am. I'm also absolutely cream-crackered from several days of celebration (and a lot of eating) in the Italian countryside as we watched my brother marry the love of his life.

But before we get into that - first some exciting book news!

If you're a book blogger, Instagrammer or general bookish person who uses Netgalley in the UK, you can now request my third (gosh, it's weird saying that) novel A TRAITOR'S CALL to read!

If you're picking up a review copy, I really hope you enjoy it!

Okay, now on to the main business - remote Italian abbeys, weddings, cats, sunsets and gelato.

Let's get into it.
