Welcome back to The Sitrep!
It's a new month and I've had one of those up-and-down weeks again, after a truly exceptional weekend at Braemar Literary Festival last weekend. Boy, did I pay for that. But I got to meet the Queen, along with many of Scotland's finest writers, and the fine people of Braemar. And this week I got into copyedits on a project which will be announced very, very soon.
