In town for Edinburgh Sparks!
And back into town today, though no dogs involved. I'm working at the day job office, then this evening I'm heading over to Edinburgh Sparks to do a reading and a Q&A. I'm really looking forward to it!
ON DECK: A nice 1,123 words on VAULT this morning, though again nothing on the short story (I had to run for the train). However I've got an hour or so between finishing work and heading to the event, so I might tuck myself into a pub somewhere and get a couple of hundred words.
LISTENING: I really enjoyed this 'dead drop five' spy book discussion on Spybrary with crime book blogger and awards judge Ayo Onatade, best known for Shots Mag. Some great recommendations.
WATCHING: Caught up with RACE AROUND THE WORLD once I got home yesterday. What a great show. Just a balm, in so many ways. And my goodness does it give me itchy feet (in the travel sense).
READING: Speeding towards the final few pages of NO WAY OUT by Max Connor (aka Neil Lancaster, Bookshop, Waterstones, Amazon) and I have, of course, forgotten to put it in my bag on my trip into Edinburgh today. Ah well, I'll finish it tonight.
LINK: Today is just SEVEN weeks left until we launch SOLITARY AGENTS at Waterstones West End. Can't believe how fast the time is ticking away. Why not grab your ticket today?
UP NEXT: A day of work, then off to Edinburgh Sparks tonight, then tomorrow is a Writing Day at home and, maybe, just maybe, I'll finish this book.
Onward!
